But in this way may we be allied with you, if you will be like us, and all the male sex among you be circumcised:

But only in this will we consent to you, if ye will be as we, that every male of you be circumcised;

But on this condition only will we come to an agreement with you: if every male among you becomes like us and undergoes circumcision;

But we may succeed in this, so as to be allied with you, if you are willing to become like us, and if all the male sex among you will be circumcised.

Veruntamen in hoc acquiescemus vobis, si fueritis sicut nos, ut circumcidatur in vobis omnis masculus.

But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we [be], that every male of you be (e) circumcised;
(e) Their fault is even greater since they made religion a disguise for their deceit.
