The first of these was the father of a numerous race in the days of David, their number was 22,600; See Gill on 1-Chronicles 7:2; the second is called Puah, and the third Jashub, and the fourth Shimrom, 1-Chronicles 7:1; and were all the heads of families, as appears from the places referred to.
