And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

Then the whole multitude burst out into a shout. "Away with this man," they said, "and release Barabbas to us"

But with loud voices they said all together, Put this man to death, and make Barabbas free.

But they all shouted out together, saying, 'Away with this man. Release to us Barabbas'

But the entire crowd exclaimed together, saying: "Take this one, and release to us Barabbas!"

But they began to shout as one man, "Kill this fellow, but release Barabbas for us."

Away with this man - That is, Put him to death - αιρε τουτον, literally, Take this one away, i.e. to punishment - to death.

And they cried out all at once,.... The chief priests, rulers, and people, not bearing to hear of a release of him, now they had got him in their hands; and enraged at the proposal, in a most clamorous way, cried out, as one man, immediately:
Saying, away with this man; to the cross; to Calvary, the place of execution; away with him out of the world; he is not fit to live:
