Et super Dibon, et super Nebo, et super Beth-diblathaim (domum Diblathaim, sed est nomen proprium urbis;)

Beth-diblathaim - i. e., "the house of the two cakes of figs," perhaps so called from two hills in its neighborhood. Hosea 1:3 note.

And upon Dibon,.... Whose destruction by this time was come upon it, as suggested, Jeremiah 48:18;
and upon Nebo: of which see Jeremiah 48:1;
and upon Bethdiblathaim: the same with Almondiblathaim in Numbers 33:46 and Diblath in Ezekiel 6:14.

Beth-diblathaim--"the house of Diblathaim": Almon-diblathaim (Numbers 33:46); "Diblath" (Ezekiel 6:13); not far from Mount Nebo (Numbers 33:46-47).
